Yup.  I have it.  6 weeks to the day of placing the order, BMW 5-Series 520d SE Saloon.  Black.  Very,very black.  Had it 4 days now, and been hugely happy and impressed with it - drives like a dream, I guess that’s where the 30% uplift on cost goes - engine is extremely perky, the mid-range power is tremendous - it’s all a little tight right now, but with the mileage I tend to do, will soon put that to rights.  Inside, it’s tremendously relaxing - almost no road noise at all, and unless your pushing, you’ll never hear the engine - with a fully integrated ipod, phone suite and DAB Radio, plenty to keep my occupied whilst sitting in traffic for endless hours as well.   I went for the Fusion Artificial Leather Upholster, mainly because I couldn’t afford the Nappa Leather uprade - but it’s very, very convincing, I was really surprised at how quality it smells, looks and feels. I doubt too many folks getting in the car would even realise it’s not the real thing - and given the price difference of nearly two thousand quid! Click on the photo to see some more, larger images.
