The Wizard

I felt quite challenged trying to create another song with GarageBand this weekend, as I appeared to have used all the riffs, ideas and other bits I’d accumulated over the years, and would need to create everything in one go. From this starting point, the only conclusion I reach is that music is weird. I have no idea where this came from, I had no concept, nowhere to go, just layed down a few ideas, started mixing them over one another, forming riffs and some melodies and well….this is the result.

My own criticism of it is, well, it does sound like a bunch of ideas just layed down next to one another. Odd though, I didn’t mean it to come out this way….but anyone whose a fan of a certain 70’s progressive rock band is going to spot the influence!

I’ve posted this on “My Music” page.
