Perspective is my second collection of songs for 2011, started in early September after a few months listening around for fresh ideas. I started off with “Making Me, Like You”, for which I also came up with some excellent cover art (check it out…..) – but decided it wasn’t the best overall Album title, and so reworked it.
Perspective is by far my favourite track on the collection – I’d been listening to a lot of old maiden tracks recently, and certainly it’s second half reminds me of good run-outs like “Hallowed Be Thy Name”. Steady Imperfection is also one of the best “openers” I’ve done and I was really pleased with that. Hoping to complete the collection by the new year, making it a perfect 10 collections in 4 years.
