My life all seems to be about pressure at the moment. I play my Guitar and write my music to get away from that stuff, but this song, inadvertently, seems to really reflect how life can feel during the daily grind right now. The intro riff has been hanging around my fretboard for the past 10 years, but I’ve never managed to integrate it into a song properly – same goes for the interlude in the middle. There’s a slight indication of almost two songs joined as one here, but I still enjoy it and have decided to leave it as is. I found a nice intro effect from the Royalty Free Sound Database, FreeSound.
